Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Cortex Developer to join a client team as a team extension within a regulated pharmaceutical and life sciences environment. You will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying AI-powered data solutions that leverage the full Snowflake Cortex ecosystem — from semantic modelling to agentic workflows — enabling teams to query data in natural language and generate actionable insights at scale.

This is a hands-on technical role requiring proven Snowflake implementation experience. You will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise-grade analytics capabilities in a fast-paced, compliance-aware setting.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-powered applications using Snowflake Cortex, including Cortex Analyst and Cortex Search

• Build and deploy Snowflake Agents to automate agentic workflows and insight-generation pipelines

• Develop and maintain Semantic Models and Semantic Views to support consistent, governed data access

• Leverage Cortex capabilities to enable natural language querying across enterprise datasets

• Collaborate with data and analytics teams to translate business requirements into scalable Snowflake solutions

• Ensure solutions meet the regulatory and compliance standards applicable in the pharmaceutical industry

• Contribute to architecture decisions and best practices across the Snowflake data platform

Requirements

• Proven, hands-on experience with Snowflake Cortex in a production environment

• Practical knowledge of Cortex Analyst, Cortex Search, and AI-powered applications on Snowflake

• Experience building and deploying Snowflake Agents

• Strong understanding of Semantic Models and Semantic Views

• Experience leveraging Cortex for natural language querying, insight generation, and agentic workflows

• Demonstrated Snowflake implementation experience 

Nice to have

• Experience with GenAI / LLM-based solution design and deployment

• Background in designing enterprise analytics and insight-generation platforms

• Strong Python and SQL skills

• Experience working in regulated industries — Life Sciences or Pharma is a significant advantage
