Senior QA Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with strong experience in Go or Python to build a complete end‑to‑end testing framework from scratch. You will work directly with the development team, write tests in parallel with feature development, and be responsible for achieving over 90% code coverage and full feature validation within the first eight weeks.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a full E2E testing framework using Testcontainers‑go and containerized test environments.

• Develop advanced API mocks, stubs, and simulation layers for complex scenarios.

• Create automated test suites in Go or Python (depending on your specialization) covering functional, integration, and system-level tests.

• Ensure all new features are fully validated as they are developed.

• Improve test stability, reliability, and execution performance across multiple environments.

• Collaborate closely with developers to clarify expected behaviours, edge cases, and acceptance criteria.

• Drive test coverage toward >90% and track progress continuously.

• Use Docker extensively to create reproducible, isolated test setups.

Technical Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in automated software testing or QA engineering.

• Strong programming skills in Go or Python (must be able to write tests, frameworks, and tooling).

• Hands-on experience building E2E test frameworks from the ground up.

• Proficiency with Testcontainers-go or similar containerized testing technologies.

• Solid experience with Docker in test environments (multi-container orchestration, networks, isolated environments).

• Ability to create advanced API mocks, fake services, or custom testing harnesses.

• Good understanding of CI/CD integration for automated testing pipelines.

• Ability to work in parallel with development to validate features continuously.

Nice to Have

• Experience testing system agents for Linux/Windows.

• Background in security testing, vulnerability detection, or API security.

• Knowledge of Go concurrency patterns and strategies to test them.

• Experience with performance testing, stress testing, or fault injection.

• Familiarity with NASL or similar vulnerability scanning technologies.
