Role Overview
We are looking for a QA Engineer responsible for ensuring that the iOS prototype is fully ready for client demonstration. The role focuses on rapid E2E validation, creating checklists, and assembling a complete evidence pack to confirm demo‑readiness. Your goal is to detect blockers early, verify stability for a short demo window, and ensure the prototype behaves predictably under real‑device conditions.
The project aims to to deliver iOS control component for secure remote access. Protocol implementation, provisioning, certificate-based authentication, and a lightweight control UI.
Responsibilities
Define demo readiness criteria, including end‑to‑end success conditions, required stability window (approx. 10–15 minutes), and clear stop criteria.
Prepare an MVP test plan and a step‑by‑step demo runbook covering the entire demo sequence.
Execute tests on real iOS devices, perform quick regression checks before each demo, and identify any potential “demo killers.”
Collect and organize evidence for the evidence pack: logs, screenshots, negative test results, tunnel‑up → RDP start sequence, and documented error conclusions.
Test certificate and mTLS scenarios: missing certificates, expired certificates, incorrect CA chains, SecTrust issues, and handshake failures.
Capture and analyze iOS/NetworkExtension logs (neagent, extension lifecycle, Console/Xcode logs) while ensuring no sensitive information is leaked.
Collaborate with the client’s team on sandbox integration: correlation IDs, shared checklists, and clear responsibility mapping (“our side vs client side”).
Requirements
Experience testing iOS applications, including working with real devices.
Ability to collect, interpret, and explain logs from both the device and Console/Xcode.
Strong scenario‑based testing approach and effective communication with developers.
Familiarity with TLS/mTLS and certificate behavior in testing environments is a plus.
Attention to detail and ability to quickly validate E2E readiness in fast‑moving demo contexts.
