Role Overview

The DevOps Engineer is responsible for the continuous development and operation of Java/Spring Boot APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS-based infrastructure, ensuring stable and secure data‑driven services. The role also supports ETL- and database‑related tasks, contributes to the improvement of Self‑Service Portals, and handles monitoring, troubleshooting, and system maintenance. Success in this position requires strong API and cloud knowledge, a proactive working style, and careful handling of complex data environments.

Responsibilities

• Further development & operation of the Java/Spring Boot API,

• CI/CD pipelines (Concourse), deployments, Docker,

• maintenance of AWS infrastructure (Cognito, API Gateway, RDS),

• support of Development in ETL/DB-related tasks,

• support and further development of Self-Service Portals (SSP) (web frontend for test data),

• monitoring, error analysis, maintenance.

Requirements

• good API knowledge (Java, Spring Boot),

• good basic cloud knowledge (AWS Services above),

• understanding of CI/CD & deployment pipelines,

• basic SQL knowledge,

• proactive & independent working style,

• particularly careful handling of data due to the high project complexity,

• high comprehension and creativity for proactive and pragmatic problem-solving inthe context of data products,

• high understanding of data complexity

• TISAX certification
