Delivery Manager

We are based in Poland. Our main area of operation is the DACH region and Scandinavia, where we are known for providing top-notch software development services. Our primary focus are managed services for companies seeking to accelerate growth, solve complex tech problems, build MVP/POC and/or modify legacy infrastructures. The main area of competence include Product & Application Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Security & Managed Services and AI & Data Enablement.
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Delivery Manager to join our dynamically growing software house. In this key role, you will oversee the delivery of software projects and managed services to our customers while managing a skilled team of Project Managers, Technical Consultants, and Developers. The ideal candidate will bring solid technical expertise, a proven track record of successful project and service delivery, and strong leadership capabilities.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Define, plan, and implement software projects using industry best practices.
Set up and manage services under SLAs, designing scalable system architectures and workflows.
Collaborate with technical teams to address escalations and deliver high-quality, innovative solutions.
Closely collaborate with the sales team providing technical insights during pre-sales processes, including pricing and proposal preparation.
Conduct discovery workshops to gather client requirements and define tailored solutions aligned with client needs and emerging trends.
Plan and oversee project execution, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional quality.
Monitor project scope, budgets, and schedules across the company's portfolio.
Manage and mentor a team of Project Managers, Technical Consultants, and Developers.
Implement tools and processes to enhance project tracking, reporting, and risk management.
Stay updated on industry advancements, technologies, and competitor strategies.
Recommend tools, frameworks, and methodologies to optimize service delivery.
Foster strong relationships with key clients and partners to build trust and collaboration.
Identify and drive opportunities for innovation within the company.
Use a data-driven approach to monitor team performance and service quality.
Analyze project outcomes to refine processes and replicate successes.
Requirements:
Experience: 10+ years in software delivery, with a proven track record of managing teams and projects.
Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of software development lifecycles, system architectures, and modern IT technologies.
Education: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
Languages: Fluent English (C1)
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with trends in software development, cloud computing, and DevOps.
Nice to have
Sales Support: Experience in technical pre-sales or solution design is a plus but not mandatory.
German proficiency is a significant advantage.
