We are looking for Support Engineer for our customer- global leader in digital payments, enabling fast, secure, and reliable transactions for individuals and businesses in over 200 countries.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 3 technical support for all PPT products, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and respond to production incidents with urgency and ownership.
- Perform in-depth troubleshooting and root cause analysis of production issues across infrastructure, middleware, and application layers.
- Utilize tools like Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana to monitor application logs, analyze metrics, set up dashboards, and configure alerts.
- Support and maintain VM-based environments, ensuring system stability and optimal performance.
- Leverage Kafka and Cassandra expertise to support distributed data systems and messaging infrastructure.
- Write and maintain automation scripts (Python and/or Bash) for recurring tasks and system diagnostics.
- Follow Agile methodologies and collaborate with development teams during analysis, design, coding, and unit testing phases of projects.

5+ years of experience in a production support or site reliability role.
- Proven experience with troubleshooting and debugging complex systems.
- Proficient in monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Splunk.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka, Cassandra, and VM-based systems.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and/or Bash.
- Understanding of Agile development practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially during incident handling and cross-functional coordination.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
- Experience working in a SaaS or cloud-native environment.
- Exposure to containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Familiarity with incident management tools like PagerDuty, ServiceNow, or Opsgenie.
