Principal .Net developer

For our Fintech client from the UK, we are seeking a Principal .Net developer. The role in this project will demand proficiency in troubleshooting, unit testing, and coordination with Engineering teams for project delivery, emphasizing continuous improvement in product and platform engineering

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of web services applications using C# and .NET framework.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define technical solutions.
• Utilize third-party libraries and APIs to enhance application functionality and performance.
• Develop and maintain Rest API services and integrate with various databases using SQL Management Studio.
• Implement efficient data processing using Dapper and Entity Framework.
• Ensure code quality through automated unit testing, CI/CD pipelines, and adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications, conduct functional and non-functional testing, and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Lead the adoption of Agile methodologies and participate in Scrum ceremonies.
• Coordinate with onshore and offshore teams for project delivery and collaborate on application migration initiatives.
• Maintain documentation using tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technologies for continuous improvement in product and platform engineering.

If you possess...

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• 8-10 years of professional experience in software development
• Expertise in: C#, REST API, Microsoft .NET Framework, SQL Management Studio (MSSQL), Dapper, Entity Framework, RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, AWS services (Amazon EKS, AWS Lambda), XUnit, NUnit, Jenkins Pipeline, Bitbucket Pipeline, Octopus, Sonar Cloud, Jira, Confluence, Agile Methodologies, C4 Modelling, and Trace Diagram
• Additional skills highly valued: WPF, .NET, JSON, XML, Rest, SOAP, Scrum, Agile, Git, automated unit tests, automated integration tests, GitHub Copilot, SQL.
