Senior Data/SRE Engineer

2-3 per week you need to be available until 9:00 pm due to meetings with the US team.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and operate high‑reliability data pipelines (Elasticsearch–Logstash–Kibana stack, data warehouses, and other vendor tools) using Apache Airflow and Extract–Transform–Load (ETL) best practices.

• Develop and review infrastructure-as-code using Terraform in a cloud-native environment (primarily AWS), leveraging AI-assisted coding tools.

• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and containerized workloads (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes or similar) for data and platform services.

• Engineer and maintain observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch–Logstash–Kibana) including metrics, logging, tracing, and health checks.

• Define and tune dashboards, service-level objectives (SLOs), and alerting rules to improve reliability, reduce noise, and support rapid incident response.

• Work with event streaming platforms (Kafka, Amazon Kinesis, or similar) to support real-time data and observability use cases.

• Proactively improve operational excellence through automation, runbooks, reliability reviews, and technical operations analysis in production environments.

• Develop clean, maintainable code in Python for data processing, tooling, and reliability/DevOps automation.

Skills and Experience:

• 8+ years of software engineering experience

 Nice to Have:

• Experience with implementing and maintaing security-focused data pipelines to reliably deliver telemetry and event data to security platforms.
