SRE/DevOps

We are looking for a Senior SRE/DevOps Engineer to help enhance the observability, resilience, and scalability of our systems. You will work on improving monitoring, alerting, incident management, and deployment processes, while driving automation and best practices across the engineering organization. This role involves close collaboration with engineers, architects, and leadership to ensure our platforms are reliable, secure, and high-performing. The ideal candidate is technically strong, communicates effectively, and can balance hands-on problem-solving with strategic thinking to deliver measurable improvements in system reliability and operational excellence.

Required Skills & Expertise:

Core Concepts

• SLAs / SLOs / SLIs, Error Budgets

• CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation

• Observability (monitoring, alerting, metrics)

• Synthetic, performance, and transaction/error rate monitoring

• Resilience, scalability, and logging best practices

• Linux systems, containerization, networking fundamentals

• Deployment strategies, verification, and rollback

• Security principles and compliance

• DORA metrics, root cause analysis, post-mortems

• Disaster recovery and incident management

• Cloud: AWS (EKS, EC2, ECR, ECS, Lambda, SAM, S3, Aurora, RDS, DynamoDB, DocumentDB, VPC, Load Balancers, Route 53, SQS, SNS, Secrets Manager, ACM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail)

• Monitoring & Ops: AppDynamics, ServiceNow, xMatters

• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform

• CI/CD: Jenkins, Git

• Programming & Scripting: JVM/Java (Maven), Python (pip), Groovy, Bash, JavaScript (NPM)

  
  

Technical Leadership

• Documenting technical decisions (ADRs, EDRs)

• Applying structured decision-making frameworks (e.g., RAPID)

• Facilitating consensus in technical discussions

• Fostering a high-trust, accountability-driven culture

• Removing roadblocks and enabling autonomy with accountability

• Advocating for process automation and continuous improvement

• Setting and tracking goals/OKRs

• Prioritizing and delegating effectively

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering (Backend or SRE/DevOps), including 2+ years in an SRE/DevOps role

• Proven track record delivering complex, large-scale software systems

• Deep experience with observability, resilience, and scalability

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across diverse stakeholders

• Results-driven, with evidence of improving KPIs and DORA metrics
