Senior IT Analyst

Location: Tricity (Gdańsk/Gdynia), Warsaw, Lodz

Work model: Hybrid – 2 days per week in the office (mandatory)

Start date: ASAP

Contract type: B2B or Employment contract (UoP)

Your Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document business strategies in alignment with the target architecture

• Elicit functional and non-functional requirements by working closely with architects, developers, testers, legal and business teams

• Translate business needs into detailed technical specifications for the IT team

• Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the end-to-end development lifecycle

• Create and maintain high-quality documentation, including use cases, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

• Support developers and testers across both local and distributed teams

• Verify delivered solutions through test result analysis

• Provide stakeholders with insights into the effectiveness of implemented solutions

Must-Have Knowledge and Experience

• Proven experience in IT and/or business analysis

• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken), with experience in international collaboration

• Hands-on experience using Jira and Confluence

• Knowledge or experience in API development, data mapping, and process modeling

• Understanding of the banking sector and the payments domain

• Practical knowledge of SQL, UI prototyping, and user interface design

• Ability to read and create architecture diagrams (e.g., sequence diagrams)

• Strong technical background for efficient collaboration with developers

• Proficiency in using analytical tools and methodologies
