We are looking for a Data Engineer who will develop and maintain modern data pipelines in the Azure environment, ensuring their quality, scalability, and automation, while closely collaborating with analysts and data scientists to translate business needs into effective data-driven solutions.

WHAT WILL BE YOUR CHALLENGES?

• Designing, optimizing, and maintaining data pipelines (ETL/ELT) supporting analytics and statistical modeling

• Ensuring high data quality and integrity

• Configuring and managing data storage systems (SQL, Data Lake)

• Managing and supporting production connections within the data infrastructure

• Writing secure, scalable, and efficient code that translates business requirements into technical solutions

• Implementing engineering best practices: automation, CI/CD, standardization, and maintainability

• Collaborating closely with BI analysts, data scientists, ML engineers, and IT teams to deliver data-driven solutions

WHAT DO WE REQUIRE?

• 4–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer

• Strong skills in Python, SQL, MDX, and Bash scripting

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Azure Data components (Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake, Blob Storage, SharePoint, Databricks)

• Experience in workflow orchestration (ADF, Databricks Jobs, Airflow)

• Ability to work with Snowflake and its integration in the Azure environment

• Good knowledge of CI/CD and version control (Azure DevOps or similar)

• Understanding of data governance concepts (catalogs, metadata, lineage, master data, security, and compliance)

• Very good English skills (B2–C1)

• Nice to have: familiarity with SAP BW as a data source, Azure certifications, experience with BI (Power BI), PySpark/Scala
