Global System Engineer

As a Global System Engineer you will be responsible for the client system architecture in our IT Landscape that includes over 3,000 client workstations. This position requires technical expertise, strong customer service, and organizational skills to support the IT Global Infrastructure team in client management and IT operations.

Well qualified candidates will be able to demonstrate their ability to contribute the following:



• Provide subject matter expertise in Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Autopilot, SCCM, Active Directory, Entra/Azure, and M365.
• Execute key projects to advance Intune capabilities and services such as SCCM, Intune, Autopilot, MDM, MAM, and App deployment.
• Establish standards for IT Infrastructure clients and workplaces.
• Execute packaging of patches and software deployments using SCCM.
• Complete end-user helpdesk issues as assigned.
• Provide Tier 1-3 troubleshooting support for a complete range of systems and network issues.
• Partnering with vendors, IT Security, and compliance to ensure data and endpoint protection policies are configured appropriately.
• Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing, upgrading, and configuring applications.
• Adherence to and enforcement of all information security protocols.
• Follow ITIL processes such as incident, change, problem, and request. (ITIL certifications will be preferred but not required.)

Required Experience & Skills

• 5 years experience or more with Microsoft 365 technologies with a concentration in Microsoft Intune/SCCM.
• Expert understanding of Microsoft’s backend platform services (Intune, Autopilot ,Entra, Azure, M365).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and proficient with documentation of processes.
• Professional written/verbal communication.
• Experience supporting mobile devices.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or similar (not required, but preferred).
• Certifications relating to SCCM, Entra/Azure, or M365 are not required, but will be preferred.
