We’re looking for a Junior Backend Developer to join our Scrum team (4-6 devs, QA, BA, SM, and PO). You’ll help us build new features our customers need, keep things running smoothly, and clean up some tech debt along the way.
Our back-office app supports professional insurers with policy sales, claims handling, and more. Our APIs are used by clients and third parties for integrations and portals.
You won’t be on your own – you’ll have support from an experienced team architect and a sharp DevOps crew to keep things stable and automated. Sound like your kind of challenge? Join us!
- Participate in a Scrum team as developer:
- Help the team improve processes, efficiency, and quality,
- Be engaged in team discussions and contribute to a well-functioning team,
- Review team members’ pull requests,
- Develop new features and integrations,
- Change existing functionality,
- Support customers live on the system by answering questions and fixing bugs,
- Refactoring and paying back tech debt:
- Including porting functionality from our legacy apps to our new app.
What tech and tools you will be using?
During your daily work, you will use, among other things:
- .NET 8 framework from which our backend is mainly built,
- Microsoft SQL Server,
- GraphQL API,
- GitHub,
- Azure suite,
- Jira.
- Experience in .NET using C#,
- Some proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL,
- Ability to drive your own tasks and communicate with others when necessary,
- Know when to ask for help and explain clearly what you are building,
- Be thorough and able to deliver a complete result the first time,
- Have an excellent verbal and written English.
