We are seeking a talented Mid/Senior SAP FI & Tax Consultant to join our high-performing SAP Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting SAP FI processes with a strong focus on global and local tax requirements. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver robust, compliant, and scalable financial solutions across the organization.

THE WORK:

• Lead and participate in requirements-gathering workshops covering SAP FI and tax-related processes.

• Design, configure, and optimize SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, AA, Banking) with a focus on tax determination, reporting, and compliance.

• Implement and enhance indirect and direct tax solutions, including VAT, Withholding Tax, and Electronic Invoicing (where applicable).

• Ensure correct integration with related modules (CO, MM, SD, PS) and tax engines/interfaces.

• Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with ABAP developers for enhancements and custom objects.

• Lead testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT support.

• Provide documentation, training, and post-go-live support to key users and business teams.

• Stay current with regulatory changes and support the organization in maintaining tax compliance through SAP.

Flexible: The work location for this role may include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office - depending on specific project circumstances.

Qualifications

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED: ​

• 4+ years of hands-on SAP FI consulting experience, including tax configuration.

• Strong understanding of global and local tax requirements (e.g., VAT, Withholding Tax).

• Experience with end-to-end SAP implementation projects or major enhancements.

• Solid knowledge of financial processes across AP, AR, GL, and Asset Accounting.

• Understanding of integration points with MM/SD for tax calculation.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into SAP solutions.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
