THE WORK

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will contribute to building a future‑ready Software‑Defined Vehicle Platform that unifies Linux, Android, QNX, AUTOSAR & Adaptive AUTOSAR into one powerful developer ecosystem—supporting innovation in ADAS and Infotainment domains.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Defining firmware/software architecture for designated platform components and modules.

• Designing, implementing, integrating, testing, and documenting low‑level drivers, BSP, and embedded software components in modern C++.

• Applying and adhering to automotive industry standards (ASPICE, ISO 26262).

Flexible:The work location for this role may include a mix of working remotely (most of the time), onsite at a client, or in an Accenture office—depending on specific project circumstances. With all our roles, there is some in‑person time for collaboration, learning, and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders, and communities. HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

• Practical experience in Embedded Software development using C/C++/Modern C++.

• Hands‑on driver/BSP/low‑level software development experience.

• Understanding of RTOS and embedded operating systems.

• Experience using gmock (or similar frameworks) for C++ unit tests.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

• Knowledge of ASPICE SWE processes and ISO 26262 (software level, Part 6).

• Experience working in multi‑core environments.

• Familiarity with MISRA, CERT, or other static analysis standards.

• Python or PyTest experience.

• Exposure to architectures such as Tricore, ARM, POSIX.
