AI Researcher / Engineer

ABRIAL is California-based startup, with a meaningful European footprint. We are building the commercial operating system for airlines, starting with the core of the engine: price optimization (yield management).

Team: 10 people, all top-notch, with a sharp mix of business, domain expertise, and AI research & engineering. Deep market access, incredibly differentiated and high-performance product, proven to deliver meaningful financial impact.

Traction: Live with a large airline, just signed a second one, a few more in contracting, and a deep pipeline beyond that.

Funding: runway through Q1 2028. Closed our first institutional round, led by several excellent silicon valley VCs, with strong line of sight into a series A raise in the coming months in case needed.

Candidate Profile: We are looking to add to our AI Engineering team.

• 2 to 8 years of experience (incl. hands-on post-docs & PhD); flexible for the right person.

• Strong foundation in Deep Learning and / or Reinforcement Learning, ideally applied to optimization problems in operations research.

• Comfortable building, shipping, and iterating fast on models brought to production (Data Engineering is already covered).

• Thrives in small teams with direct ownership and impact. Excited to grow business and responsibilities at breakneck speed.

• Extreme intellectual curiosity and passion for execution.

Compensation: equity stake well above market, market-rate cash comp (freelance admin. status for the first year, converted to a classical employee status once the entity is set up).

Location: remote, preferably based in Europe.

Start: July-September
