Data Engineer/ Databricks Developer

For our client in the pharmaceutical industry, we are looking for an experienced Data Engineer/ Databricks Developer. The project focuses on enabling business users and data owners to define, monitor, and manage data quality through dashboards, rule-based controls, and trend analysis.

Work mode: 100% remote

Tasks

• Support design and implementation of a Databricks-based Data Quality Monitoring solution (DQX)

• Develop and apply data quality rules and pipelines

• Deliver dashboards and insights for business users

• Ensure alignment between data quality, usage, and key data elements

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks (Spark, SQL, Delta Lake, Python)

• Experience building data pipelines (ETL/ELT) and working with data quality frameworks (preferably DQX)

• Understanding of data governance and rule-based data quality monitoring

• Fluent English 

Nice to have:

• Experience in regulated environments or life sciences data

• Dashboarding and data quality reporting skills

• Azure DevOps / CI-CD knowledge

• Experience with integrations, APIs, Snowflake, or clinical systems (e.g. Veeva)
