Solution Architect (pharma; 100% remote)

About project

Currently we are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join a project from pharma industry. You will join an Agile team and your role will be overseeing the design and architecture of solutions for all systems within the product. You will work closely with the Product Manager, Delivery Services Manager/System Owner and IT Product Owner to deliver high quality products that will significantly impact Client's processes. 

Close cooperation with USA - calls around 6/7 PM might appear!

Tasks

• Leading developer and DevOps teams working on systems.
• Providing technical support and direction to team members, acting as first point of contact for technical/design discussions/queries.
• Making informed decisions on technology stack, tools and methodologies based on project requirements and industry best practices.
• Evaluating and implement solutions for scalability, performance and security.
• Developing high quality architectural solutions that meet business needs.
• Leading the implementation of Data Mesh approach, in line with R&D Excellence, to deliver impactful clinical/operational data products to the business.

Requirements

• Few years of experience on similar position in international environment 
• Good knowledge of Python and Spark (e.g. PySpark, data partitioning)
• Familiarity with Snowflake, Airflow, Amazon EMR and EKS 
• Good knowledge of Java and SpringBoot, SpringCloud
• Familiarity with Lakehouse architecture, Apache Iceberg
• Expertise in information architecture and knowledge of Data Mesh
• Expertise in cloud platforms, particularly AWS and Google Cloud
• Familiarity with Terraform and CI/CD principles and tools
