Senior AWS Engineer (DevOps & migration)

About the Project

Currently we are looking for Senior AWS Engineer (DevOps & migration) for our Client from energy industry.

Work Mode: Hybrid – 2 days in the Warsaw office

Job Responsibilities

• Setting up IaC and Application code pipelines based on GitHub workflows,
• Setting up AWS services like SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, Elasticache for Redis,
• Working on data migration leveraging Storage Gateway, Datasync, DMS, S3, to ensure the right solution is used to meet the migration requirements,
• Building trainings related to the platform and AWS specifics product and creating documentation like onboarding guides, FAQ pages, procedures for other teams and internally,
• Helping Application team resolve ad hoc issues and setting up their success including firewall openings and setting appropriate alarms or metrics as necessary.

Expectations

• Have experience and knowledge in AWS with focus on EKS, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, Elasticache for Redis, AFT, CloudFormation, Terraform as well S3, EFS, EBS, FSx,
• Have prior experience with Github or GitOps and SSM, Ansible, or similar,
• Thrive in an international environment and are able to create good relationships with your stakeholders,
• Have capability to possess a good understanding of our IT Architecture principles, IT Strategy and NIST based security principles,
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
