About the project:
For our Swedish client, investment company specialize in private equity, we are looking for a Security Automation Engineer with Python.
The team is focused on streamlining and automating security processes, enhancing efficiency through data-driven approaches, and gaining hands-on experience in governance, risk, and compliance. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate across technical teams, contribute to the company’s security strategy, and develop expertise in both technical and business aspects of cybersecurity.
Hybrid – 3 days/week from Warsaw office
Tasks:
- Collaborate with cybersecurity specialists to streamline, automate, and enhance
- existing security processes.

Identify inefficiencies in workflows, propose solutions, and implement improvements using
- automation and modern tools.
- Work with data from our tech stack to create visualizations and reports for internal teams and
- senior management
- Use tools like Hex.tech to build impactful dashboards that enable data-driven decision-making.

Support the execution of security processes, including vendor security reviews, risk assessments,
- and other operational tasks, to gain hands-on insight into their structure and effectiveness. While
- the primary focus is on developing, streamlining, and automating these processes, you will also
- contribute to their day-to-day execution as needed.
Requirements:
- Technical background with experience in process improvement, automation, or data engineering.

Min. 5 years + of experience in building or enhancing workflows using automation tools and scripting languages like Python.
- An interest in cybersecurity and a willingness to learn about, and participate in, governance, risk,
- and compliance processes.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively across geographies, time zones, and functions.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to identify inefficiencies, propose solutions, and drive
- initiatives forward.
Nice to have:
- Experience with data pipelines and models using tools like dbt, Fivetran, and Snowflake.
- Familiarity with modern reporting and visualization tools like Power BI or Hex.tech.
- Exposure to governance, risk, and compliance tools or frameworks.
- Knowledge of Terraform or other infrastructure automation tools.
