Java Developer

About the Project: 

For our client, a provider of digital identity and cybersecurity solutions, we are looking for a Senior Backend Developer. 

The person in this role will join a team responsible for developing a login system that enables citizens and businesses in Denmark to securely access public services using a single digital identity.

Locaton: 100% remote (occasional travel to Copenhagen).

Job Responsibilities:

You will be working together in a scrum with team architects, developers, scrum master, business analyst, product owner and testers. The team works closely together with other scrum teams in designing and delivering updates to our international solutions.

• Write high quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines

• Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications

• Create documentation for reference and reporting

• Find bugs and offer timely solutions

• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software

• Verify and deploy programs and systems

• Recommend to your team members and execute improvements

  
  

Expectations:

• A minimum of 7 years’ hands-on experience with development of enterprise IT-systems and complex software solutions

• Solid experience with backend development using technologies like Java, Spring Boot, OpenShift, Hibernate etc.

• Cryptographic experience and familiar with security concepts and system

• Experience with databases, preferably Oracle

• Understanding and hands-on experience of CI/CD Tools (e.g., Jenkins)

• Experience in usage of Jira, Confluence, and other similar tools for issue tracking and documentation

• Hands-on experience in usage of automatic testing tools (e.g., Junit)

• In-depth knowledge of REST APIs and the matching software architectural style

• Familiar with DevOps practices and tools

• Proficient in written and spoken English (C1)
