Java Developer (Kotlin)

About the Project

Currently we are looking for Senior Java Developer with Kotlin who will join a team working on projects from logistics industry.

You will join the team which will be responsible for building and maintaining core services in a greenfield project in the e-commerce sector.

100% remote work.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implementation and testing of high-performance microservices in Java on a cloud-based infrastructure
• Proposing improvements to the current applications
• Advocate an engineering culture of quality, good development principles and innovation from inside your team
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including System Design and RFC documents
• Collaborate with testers and other team members, and be willing to mentor team members when necessary

Expectations

•  5+ years of solid commercial experience as Java Developer
• Java development experience including knowledge of common tooling such as Spring, MVP
• Knowledge of traditional software development processes and tools, including Maven/Gradle, Git, JIRA, Confluence, Code Reviews and CI/CD.
• Hands-on experience developing microservices using modern technologies such as Apache Kafka, REST APIs, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud-based infrastructure (GCP preferred)
• Experienced in taking ownership of tasks, commitments, quality, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement in an Agile/Scrum environment - proactive and supportive attitude
• Fluency in English (B2+)

• Nice to have: Kotlin experience
