Frontend Developer (React)

We are looking for a talented and motivated Frontend Software Developer to join a fast-growing product development team working on a modern, cloud-based payroll platform used by thousands of companies across Europe. This long-term project is built with cutting-edge technologies, offers a stable product base, and is expanding rapidly with exciting new features in the pipeline.

As part of a cross-functional and international team, you will play a crucial role in building intuitive, performant, and secure applications that serve real business needs.

Work Mode: 100% remote. The role includes occasional business trips (1-2 times per year) to Germany

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze software requirements

• Translate user needs into scalable technical specifications and clean, maintainable code

• Design, implement, and optimize React-based front-end solutions using JavaScript and TypeScript

• Perform unit, integration, and system testing to ensure product quality and stability

• Participate in code reviews to maintain high coding standards

• Maintain clear, accurate, and up-to-date documentation (technical and API)

• Work closely with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and backend developers

• Use Git for source control and collaborate efficiently via CI/CD pipelines

• Follow agile development practices (Scrum/Agile)

• Stay current with modern web development trends and best practices

• Troubleshoot issues, provide technical support, and contribute to continuous improvements

• Follow security best practices and contribute to overall system performance

• Mentor junior developers and actively engage in knowledge sharing within the team

Expectations

• 3-5 years of professional experience in frontend development

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript

• Solid experience with React

• Hands-on experience with Git, Docker, and RESTful APIs (JSON)

• Understanding of software design patterns, algorithms, and data structures

• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL

• Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

• Experience delivering successful software products

• Optional but appreciated: experience with backend technologies (e.g. Python, Django)
