Database Architect (MS SQL)

About the Project

Currently we are looking for Database Architect with knowledge of MS SQL who will join team working on developing innovative analytical solutions for the food, agricultural, and chemical industries.

Work Mode: on-site, Warsaw

Duration of the project: till the end of 2025 (with possibility of extension)

Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop database architecture based on MS SQL Server, with a focus on scalability, performance, and security
• Participate in creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines related to database deployments, ideally using Azure DevOps
• Plan and execute database migrations using modern migration tools
• Create and maintain technical documentation and promote best practices for database design
• Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and data teams to ensure a cohesive data strategy
• Support the rollout of new database versions and maintain the stability of database environments

Expectations

• Experience working on a similar position
• Strong expertise in MS SQL Server, including experience with large-scale and complex databases
• Hands-on experience with database migration tools, such as: Liquibase, Flyway, etc.
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD processes, ideally with Azure DevOps
• Familiarity with database versioning, deployment automation, and release management
• Team player with the ability to work across development and infrastructure teams
• English on an advanced level (min. B2)
• Knowledge of .NET is a strong plus
