10X Beta is redefining medtech development, delivering 21st-century technology into the healthcare system to dramatically improve patient care and outcomes. We are a venture studio investing in and incubating several exciting connected medical device ventures; we are a supportive fast-paced team that has the energy of a start-up with the support infrastructure of a mature product design house.  The initial project for this role is in support of a medication adherence venture called Validose. Validose is a hardware-enabled software product that objectively and seamlessly tracks patients' use of medication to ensure the effective use of drugs in development.  Come join the team!

• Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain native mobile applications (both Android OS and Apple iOS) through React Native framework / cross-platform
• Design, develop, and maintain React web application / web interface
• Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of the web applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, data scientists, and regulatory experts, to deliver high-quality solutions
• Translate user needs into technical requirements, and describe/justify technical decisions to people outside the Engineering team
• Implement and maintain best practices for coding, testing, and deployment to meet regulatory standards for medical software
• Write clear, concise documentation to support development and regulatory submission processes
• Create modular and scalable code that allows easy integration with other systems and seamless collaboration with other teams
• Improve the application's performance, usability, and security
• Provide training, help, and support to other team members.

• Requirements:
• Must Have
• 4+ years of experience developing with React Native and React
• Knowledge of React / React Native components, APIs, and libraries
• Proven experience in web development with technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, JSON, and XML
• Experience with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap
• Experience with CSS and CSS preprocessors
• Experience with responsive and mobile design
• Experience with RESTful and GraphQL APIs, and integrating them into applications
• Experience with software design, object orientation, architecture, and delivery patterns
• Familiarity  with refactoring skills and techniques
• An understanding of the mobile ecosystem, common libraries and languages
• An understanding of the full mobile development life-cycle,
• Experience in testing automation (unit testing, end-to-end testing)
• Fluency in English
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes in the web & mobile application context
• Nice to Have
• Hands-on experience with Android app development using Java/Kotlin and / or Swift for Apple iOS,
• Experience with publishing apps to mobile stores (Android and iOS),
• Experience working in regulated industries is a significant advantage.
