Senior Backend Engineer - PHP/Symfony

We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with deep PHP expertise to lead the design and implementation of complex, event-driven systems. If you've spent 5+ years crafting sophisticated web applications and you're passionate about clean architecture, this is your role.

What You'll Do

Core Responsibilities:

• Design and develop robust PHP backend systems using Event Sourcing to power critical business processes

• Own full-cycle deployments and maintenance alongside the team - from code to production

• Participate in architecture decisions that shape how we build

• Conduct code reviews that elevate team standards

• Bridge backend and frontend seamlessly, ensuring smooth integration

What We're Looking For

Technical Foundation:

• 5+ years building complex web applications in PHP

• Production experience with Symfony 

• Deep understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Event Sourcing - not just theory, but applied expertise

• Strong grasp of REST APIs, OOP, and MVC patterns

• Proficiency in MySQL/MariaDB, Git, Docker, and modern frontend integration
