Development
As part of the ESET PROTECT team in Kraków, we are integrating OpenXDR to enhance cross-layer threat detection and response. The project focuses on building scalable backend services that aggregate and correlate security telemetry from endpoints, network, and cloud sources. Our goal is to provide security analysts with actionable insights and automation capabilities, while maintaining high performance and reliability across distributed systems.
Developers in CoreDev work on advancing the technology behind our flagship products – ESET Home Security and ESET Protect solutions for businesses. They use threat analysis results in their work and closely collaborate with analysts, which means that besides being excellent programmers, they also need to be security specialists.
Threat Analysis
Threat analysis is not just an antivirus laboratory, because computer viruses are now only one of many dangers facing computer users. Analysts examine emerging threats, describe them, categorize them, and then develop methods for their detection, removal, and prevention.
