As a Microsoft Engineer in our Directory & Messaging Services team, you will be joining the Corporate IT Services department.
We help all employees throughout the organization realize their full potential within a modern framework of enjoyable Enterprise IT services. We are the central place to go to for all internal IT needs inside with a high commitment to service. In our own teams we iterate over new ideas to engage with our internal user community to improve their day to day experience towards the ideal IT environment. In an open and friendly environment we engage daily with other engineers and our user community across Europe to develop, build, operate and implement the next level of Enterprise IT service based on feedback and requirements.
Responsibilities
- You manage parts of our Microsoft 365 tenant as well as our on-premise Windows Systems across the plan, build, run, monitor lifecycle
- You work on our Enterprise E-Mail communication infrastructure (e.g. Mail Routing, Mail Security, Cloud Mail Gateways, Exchange Online, Exchange 2016/2019)
- You support in the operation and management of our M365 applications (e.g. Exchange Online, AzureAD, Teams, ...)
- You identify improvement potentials inside the Directory & Messaging technical domain, scoping and driving follow-up IT initiatives
- You implement Security and Compliance requirements (Microsoft Security & Compliance Center / Exchange Online Protection) in close alignment with the respective departments
- You automate day to day operations using scripting languages with a focus on Microsoft PowerShell and modern tooling (i.e Bitbucket, AzureDevOps, Azure Pipelines, ...)
- You manage Identity and Access rights in our on-premise Active Directory as well as our AzureAD
- You take part in 24/7 operations with a rotating on-call duty
Requirements
- You at least finished secondary education and have minimum of 3 years of relevant experience on the job
- Your experience is sound in implementing sophisticated Microsoft Exchange solutions (i.e general mail protocols/mail flow, Microsoft Exchange hybrid and Mail Security)
- You gained experience working with common ITSM tools (ticket management, knowledge base, source code versioning)
- You ideally posses relevant Microsoft certificates (MCSE, MCSA, MS-900, AZ-900) in good standing
- You know the general IT infrastructure basics and components (i.e managed services, network, servers, cloud/datacenter) with a focus on E-Mail infrastructure (DKIM, SPF, DMARC, SMTP, ...)
- You are fluent in English (at least CEFR B2)
