PHP Developer

We are seeking a skilled and proactive PHP Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and enhancement of our software applications. Your responsibilities will include designing, coding, testing, and maintaining software components, ensuring they are robust and efficient. Responsibilities:

• Program Development
• Software engineering and application development related activities
• Writing clean, performant, and maintainable code
• Analyzing, designing, and developing existing internal modules and new components
• Testing and monitoring application activities
• Supporting the creation of integration layers (API/ EDI)
• Preparing technical documentation for end-users and developers
• Collaborating with product managers and QA to deliver cutting-edge solutions and provide value to our customers
• Sharing knowledge and mentoring other team members whenever needed

Our requirements:

Must-have:

• Excellent knowledge of PHP (PHP 7 & 8)
• Experience with frameworks such as Laravel, CakePHP, or Symfony
• Understanding of Microservices and API development
• Experience working with both monolithic applications and distributed architecture systems
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, testable, and readable code following best practices
• Strong understanding of the entire technical stack of web applications
• Proficiency in using relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL), including optimization techniques
• Knowledge of web security topics
• Minimum B2 level of English
• Team-oriented mindset, openness, and excellent communication skills
• Willingness to mentor and guide less experienced developers
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Proactive attitude and problem-solving skills

Nice-to-Have:

• jQuery proficiency is highly appreciated 
• Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS) 
• Understanding of DevOps principles, infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD processes
• Previous experience in the logistics sector
• French
