Role Description
You will join the Professional Services team that delivers custom integrations and automations for Zendesk customers using Zendesk Sell. We expect you to have solid programming skills and the ability to work both with the backend and the frontend. Professional experience is not a must, as long as you’re eager to learn new skills at a fast pace and take responsibility for the results of your work.
On the backend, you will use Java to build solutions in a service-based architecture that integrates our product with other systems used by our customers. On the frontend, you will use the Zendesk
Apps framework to enhance Zendesk Sell user experience.
What do we expect you to know or quickly learn?
- On the backendSolid command of Java 8+Willingness to get your hands dirty with Kotlin, Spring Boot, Groovy/Spock
- On the frontend:
- Know-how in building frontend solutions according to the best practices
- Solid command of JavaScript or TypeScript
- Experience with HTML & CSS
- Excitement to develop applications backed by React.js
- Passion to deliver high-quality code in a quick iterations
- Readiness to switch between frontend & backend
What experience can be helpful to become successful in the role?
