Infrastructure Engineer

The organisation is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to design, configure, test and manage advanced enterprise network infrastructure, including wired and wireless systems. The person in this role will ensure that network designs are scalable and resilient, meet performance requirements, and support operational objectives. The role includes responsibility for diagnosing and resolving complex network issues and for maintaining technical standards that sustain business continuity.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, test and deploy enterprise wired and wireless network solutions.

• Ensure network architectures are scalable, resilient and aligned with defined performance criteria.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network incidents, applying systematic fault‑finding and remediation techniques.

• Participate in network testing, validation and change control processes prior to production deployment.

• Contribute to capacity planning, performance monitoring and optimisation activities.

• Maintain clear technical documentation and handover materials for implemented network solutions.

• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to integrate network requirements into broader IT and business initiatives.

Qualifications

• Professional certification such as CCNP, CCIE or an equivalent industry certification.

• Demonstrable experience designing, configuring and managing enterprise wired and wireless networks.

• Technical proficiency with enterprise routing, switching and wireless technologies and with network testing methodologies.

• Proven capability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues in production environments.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
