Who we are
We’re a Digital Product Studio based in Berlin and Warsaw. We help our partners build tech products. Our clients include airlines, international travel brands, banks and financial services. We also build and launch our own ventures, like a privacy-focused messenger, AI for the automotive industry, a VR content creation platform and many more… We make products, not concepts and presentations. What you’ll do as a DevOps Engineer at YND
- Design and prepare production-grade scalable cloud solutions
- Build, maintain & extend development platforms
- Support a development team - we are fond of the “all hands on board” approach
- Be involved in the software engineering process from an early stage on
- Opportunity to grow in the area of DevOps parallel to develop products & platforms!
Do you have what it takes?
Must-haves
- Good understanding of Operating Systems (RedHat / CentOS / Debian)
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Practical experience with CI/CD solutions (like Jenkins, Travis, CircleCI)
- Hands on with Docker containers and container cloud orchestrators (like Kubernetes, Mesosphere)
- Strong problem solving skills and a “get-things-done” attitude
- Great collaborative skills
- Good English, spoken and written
Nice to have:
- Experience working with configuration management systems (like Terraform, Ansible, Salt)
- Fundamentals of networking stack (Load Balancing / VPN tunnels)
- Good understanding of PaaS/IaaS approach
- Experience in troubleshooting and systems / platforms maintenance
- Hands on with monitoring platforms
- Practical experience in systems or infrastructure designs
- Experience in engineering hardened systems for heightened security conditions
