Yameo is seeking a Java Development Team Lead to join our growing organization. The ideal candidate will have prior experience leading a team of Java developers. By joining our team, you will be relied on as a major contributor to both our company’ success as well as our clients’ long-term business goals.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Working with the Dev team on new projects, from initial interaction with Clients /Product Owners during the requirements discovery phase through implementation and deployment of the completed project
- Continuation of current projects, in accordance with the Scrum methodology. The current projects are applications that use, among others, Vidyo engine and NFC card readers
- Leading and organizing the team to help deliver their sprint goals: actively participating in team meetings, you will set, meet and analize sprint deliverables and work alongside the team to resolve all issues as efficiently as possible
- You will design systems and web applications (about 50% of the time) and support other developers in their daily work
- Actively participating in team meetings; set and meet sprint deliverables; and, product management team to resolve all issues as efficiently as possible
You Should Bring To The Company:
- +4 years working experience as a Full Stack Java Developer (most recently Java 11), Spring, and Hibernate as well as SQL (PostgreSQL), Jenkins, git and Gradle
- Extensive experience in developing software and integrating new solutions into existing systems
- SOLID understanding of the modern enterprise Java stack including the MVC architecture best practices
- Ability to employ quality control techniques to produce high-visibility customer facing software
- Ability to come up with development estimates based on high-level business and/or technical requirements
- A keen interest in emerging technologies and how they might impact future design decisions and strategic directions
- Perfect English skills
- Experience as a team leader is welcome
- High level skills: ability to set expectations and accountability, giving/taking feedback, active listening, respecting the contradicting point of views
