We invite a self-motivated, experienced and independent Middle/Senior DevOps who has excellent communication skills and enjoys collaborating with a team.
About the project:
We are hiring for the highly sophisticated and modular Technology Product for the agricultural and farming economy sector. The product is the monitoring solution that delivers actionable information on cows' reproductive, health, nutritional and well-being status (and animals) and groups. With the product dairy farmers with any size operation, including large farms with over 1000 animals, can make data-driven decisions for maximized productivity. The system offers a choice of neck or ear tags, varied application plan levels, payment options and user devices. Different tag types and application levels can be used together on the same farm, enabling all populations to be monitored. It is also easily upgradable, providing value from the start, with long-term investment protection.

Responsibilities:
- Build systems that are secure, scalable, and self-healing in the public cloud alongside standard DevOps tools;
- Manage and create Continuous Integration & Delivery (CI/CD) procedures;
- Be part of product architecture and infrastructure design and write documentation of the infrastructure and DevOps pipelines;
- Responsible for the MSD echo system, infrastructure, scale, costs & up-time;
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of professional experience administering Linux; Windows servers along with scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell);
- 2+ years Hands-on of AWS & Azure services;
- Knowledge in Software Development Life Cycles, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery/Deployment; - Source Control Management utilizing GIT in development environments;
- Experience with Docker approach, Kubernetes (EKS, AKS), Helm charts and Terraform;
- Understanding of the basics of database administration for MySQL or comparable SQL database;
- Monitor and Metrics gathering (AWS CloudWatch, Nagios, Datadog, Azure Monitor, Grafana); - Knowledgeable in standard protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, SSH, TLS, SMTP, SFTP, etc.);
- Keen interest in learning new and emerging technologies and passion for innovation;
- English - Upper-Intermediate.
Would be a plus:
- Familiarity with AWS RDS, MySQL, SQL, ActiveMQ, RedisCache, etc.;
- Understanding of the basics of database administration for MySQL or comparable SQL database;
- Familiarity with Artifactory, Nexus;
- Familiarity with Hashicorp tools (Ansible, Vault);
- Network management skills (firewalls, DNS, NAT) and cloud security services such as AWS Security group, WAF, ACL, Shield, etc.;
- Experience with a variety of open source technologies and tools.
