🟣 You will be:
- dividing your working time into different general activities: project work (most of the time), consulting and support of the pre-sales department,
- participating in various customer projects, designing new, green-field projects as well as leading migrations and modernizations of the legacy software,
- actively taking part in the SDLC process, starting from the discovery phase,
- preparing high-level documentation, including diagrams and ADRs,
- designing, modelling, and making critical decisions regarding the solution architecture and utilized infrastructure,
- estimating high-level cost and time to deliver,
- leading regular discussions with customers,
- analyzing functional and non-functional requirements, to better plan, scope and define projects so a high-quality solution can be delivered,
- investigating new potential solutions as well as leading PoC projects to check their viability.
🟣 Your profile:
- you are a Software Development Expert in Microsoft stack technologies with at least 12 years of commercial experience in the industry,
- you understand the application development process as well as the DevOps culture and know what is happening under the hood for the code and the infrastructure,
- for at least 5 years, you’ve been architecting software components, integrations, infrastructures, high-level visions, and migrations (e.g., monolith to microservices, cloud to cloud, on-premise to the cloud),
- you are experienced in working with external clients (on a C-level as well), and you simply like it,
- you have a good understanding of architecture patterns (e.g., monolithic, microservices, hexagonal, SOA, Event Driven Design, CRUD, serverless, Lambda, Kappa, design for failure),
- you are keen to propose and implement a project delivery strategy (either big-bang style or staged and iterative releases),
- you are experienced in conducting online/offline workshops and ready to drive it from problem statement to delivery of final artefact,
- you know industry-standard methods of workshopping exercises (Event Storming, VPC, BMC, C4 model, and more)
- you are an expert in ideas visualization, effectively using tools like Miro, draw.io, Lucid Charts, PlantUML, Mermaid, C4, and more,
- you have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with both business/functional and highly technical individuals,
- you take full responsibility of all technical aspects of the project. If there are any problems along the way, you are willing to drill down, self-educate and propose the best tactical solution to get closer to the strategic goals,
- you are open to exploring and experimenting with cutting-edge GenAI tools in software development, aligning technical prowess with innovative approaches,
- you are passionate about continuous learning and sharing knowledge,
- you thrive in dynamic environments and can navigate ambiguity with ease,
- you understand Agile SDLC,
- you have made an effort to pass certificates (Azure, AWS, Kubernetes etc.),
- you have the readiness to work on projects with increased data protection standards,
- you have the readiness to work from the office about 3 times a week,
- you have the readiness to travel to clients’ locations and Xebia offices,
- you must be fluent in both Polish and English (at least at a B2+ level).
Work from Poland and a work permit are required.
