Job description

🟣 You will be:

  • supporting senior management in defining the data product portfolio for the B2C data platform,

  • understanding the systems producing data and data consumers, building the bridge between data producers and consumers,

  • working on data-related business cases together with the Head of Product,

  • responsible for data product roadmaps, aligned with the needs of both data producers and consumers,

  • managing high-level requirements for data products, ensuring alignment with business and analytical goals,

  • co-creating and modeling a vision for the data platform, adequate to customer priorities, available data, and organizational resources,

  • specifying functional and non-functional features of the data ecosystem, including ingestion, transformation, access and governance,

  • working closely with development teams to plan and prioritize data ingestion, modeling and provisioning tasks,

  • cooperating with other Product Owners responsible for e-commerce products (Omnichannel, Loyalty, Shopping, Integrations), ensuring smooth data exchange and reuse,

  • supporting and sharing knowledge with less experienced Product Owners managing data-relevant products.


🟣 Your profile:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, including data-focused products or platforms,

  • experience with data platforms and e-commerce environments is strongly desired,

  • understands systems producing and consuming data — and builds bridges between these two worlds,

  • familiar with Azure, data lakes, data modeling, and data transformation techniques,

  • knows how to gather and structure requirements from both data producers (e.g. product teams, integrated systems) and data consumers (e.g. PowerBI, CRM tools such as Optimove),

  • looks at data through a functional lens — understands the big picture and can propose how to turn available data into actionable value,

  • able to communicate clearly, understandably and persuasively in English,

  • enjoys building and maintaining good relationships with stakeholders, including senior management,

  • familiar with the full agile software development cycle,

  • understands the strategic role of data products in modern digital businesses,

  • required travel to the office in the Netherlands every second week, with presence on Wednesdays and Thursdays

  • expected start August or September (at the latest).


Big plus: 

  • experience in systems thinking and complex system analysis.


Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.
