Position Overview

Worksuite workforce management is a full service compliance layer woven into the fabric of the Worksuite technology. We deliver a seamless and comprehensive freelance management platform experience for Hiring Managers and their freelancers. Worksuite recognizes that the true success of freelance talent acquisition and management requires a full spectrum of operational support and compliance capabilities. We put our Employer of Record (EOR), Agent of Record (AOR), and IC Certification services right into the platform.

As a Software Engineer, you will work on our backend services in one of the product development teams. You will be part of our engineering department responsible for the delivery of high-quality SaaS to our customers. You will participate in team technical decisions and product meetings. You will work closely with your team leader and the product owner to deliver the best possible outcome to our customers. 

Key responsibilities

• Help plan and design technical solutions within your product domain
• Working as part of our team of software engineers building SaaS for our customers
• Sharing knowledge and supporting your colleagues in their technical challenges
• Actively participating in backend chapter meetings and contributing to horizontal discussions and decisions 

Required Experience & Skills 

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering
• Strong technical skills in building software that your colleagues understand and machines can execute
• Motivation and drive to learn and develop yourself
• Experience working in agile environments and methodologies
• Communicative English, both verbal and written
• Analytical and go-getter attitude 

Preferred Experience & Skills 

• Experience in building SaaS applications in cloud
• Experience in Python or Django
• Experience in AWS, GCP, or Kubernetes
• Experience in architecture is a big plus
• Bachelor in Computer Science or higher
