Job Description:
- Work as a senior .NET developer along with other team members
- Depending upon the allocation, it could be a team project or an individual contributor role. Allocations can change as work progresses and depending upon new projects / changes identified by the client
- Frequent interaction with various client stakeholders
- Close interactions with internal WNS WSL (Work Stream Lead), client DM (Delivery Manager), client BA (Business Analyst), client Devops team
- Close interaction with other internal teams like QA, BI and Application Support.
- Complete the deliverables on schedule and as per the required quality standards
- Participate in the required meetings and discussions (morning SCRUM, planning and estimation sessions, technical elaboration sessions etc.)
- Identify and share improvements in the existing code and get them recorded as technical debts
- Do design and other documentation if needed
- Be part of live issues analysis and fixing, if required
- Provide demo of the deliverables to BA and/or business stakeholders, if needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of programming experience using .NET
- Must have: .NET Core or ASP.NET Core, Web API, C#
- Nice to have: WPF, MVC, React.JS, Jira, GIT, WCF, Azure, SQL Server, UNIT Testing
- Experience of working with micro services will be useful
- Financial domain understanding
- Exposure to front end technologies
Soft skills required:
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Comfortable in working directly with the client stakeholders, doing meetings and discussions as needed
- Experience of working in agile environment. Well versed in different agile principles and ceremonies
- Focus on self-learning and self-upgrade
