Automic Automation Specialist

Job Title: Automic Automation Specialist Level 2

Location and Work Mode: Remote, Poland

Type of Employment: We offer full time Contract of Employment (UoP) or B2B Employment. 

Responsibilities: 

• Troubleshoot technical issues associated with Automic /UC4. 
• Hands-on experience in creating, configuring, and testing batch jobs in Automic V12 and V21 platforms. 
• Set up batch jobs in UC4/Automic, including System Admin Experience in batch automation like creating Jobs, defining Job Properties, and orchestrating workflows. 
• Coordinate with multiple applications and stakeholders during P1 Issues for resolution.
• Possess strong knowledge of Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems. 
• Perform various actions (restart, cancel, block, unblock, set break points, set active, set inactive jobs) on the job steps as per request. 
• Execute ad hoc requests, monitor daily batches, and take necessary actions for all job failures. 
• Manage production alerts and apply fixes as per the runbook/playbook. 
• Support various application deployments over weekends. 
• Document UC4/Automic job failures and processes. 
• Prepare guides for quick resolution. 
• Work in close coordination with the team and business. 
• Attend meetings and interact with clients regularly. 

Requirements:

We are seeking a highly skilled Automic Automation Specialist Level 2 with 5-7 years of experience in the manufacturing and consumer industries. The ideal candidate will have expertise in batch job scheduling and administration tools, as well as proficiency in SQL, Linux, and Windows. 

• Primary Skill: Batch Job Scheduling and Administration Tools experience 
• Secondary Skills: SQL, Linux, Windows 
• Experience: 5-7 years 
• Industries: Manufacturing, Consumer 
• Education: B.E/ B.Tech 
• Languages: English, German 
• Certificates: Automic Admin Foundation, ITIL Certified
