Role Impact:

As a Senior Software Engineer at Wingspan, you'll be pivotal in developing software that shapes business and impacts lives. You'll work with a team of skilled engineers, driving our industry leadership and ensuring our products excel.

What you'll do:

• Develop scalable, high-quality software solutions.
• Collaborate with Product, UX/UI, and QA for timely project delivery.
• Refine software, focusing on efficiency and best practices.
• Participate in agile processes for project success and team alignment.
• Mentor and contribute to our engineering culture.

Qualifications:

• Expertise in back-end programming (Node & Typescript preferred).
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, and API design.
• Proficiency in Git, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.
• Proactive in process improvement and best practices.

Requirements:

• 5+ years in software development.
• Background in object-oriented programming.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design principles.
• Familiarity with software testing methodologies.
• Agile development process experience.

• Node.js, TypeScript
• Internal framework based on Express
• Own approach to microservices + gRPC
• Jest, Mocha

 Frontend:

• React, TypeScript (end-to-end types), react-query
• Prime react (internal components library), SCSS
• Jest, cypress 

Infrastructure: 

• GCP 
• Kubernetes, Cloud Function, MongoDB, Redis, BigQuery

Environment:

• Github Codespaces

Nice to have:

• SQL/noSQL, data modeling, and data warehousing skills.
• Experience with DBT or similar tools.
