Location: Remote work (Be ready to travel to Warsaw 1-2 times per month)

Salary: up to 37000 PLN + VAT monthly

Our Client is a USA-located startup, focusing on machine learning and data science automation. Their product automates the entire process of building predictive models from the start to the production phase. We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist who would like to join an international team and work on a project related to data science automation.

Your role is:

-> Collaborate with customers to define business problems, translate them into data science use cases, and develop solutions;

-> Gather customer feedback and collaborate with product/engineering teams to integrate it into the development process;

-> Perform benchmarking analysis with open-source datasets and explore innovative techniques for product enhancement, including new algorithms, data processing methods, and feature engineering. Develop demos/prototypes as necessary to expedite the adoption of new features;

-> Work closely with the sales team on enhancing the company's visibility within customer organization, and enabling potential cross sale/up sale opportunities.

Your skills and experiences:

-> 3+ years of professional experience building data science-driven solutions including data;

-> Experience in processing, feature engineering/selection, model training/tuning, and post-deployment validation;

-> Strong knowledge of data analytics and machine learning, and familiarity with common use cases across different industries;

-> Strong hands-on coding skills in Python and familiarity with SQL;

-> Experience with PySpark;

-> Strong communication and presentation skills.

Nice to have:

+ BS/BA Degree in Math, Engineering, CS or another Quantitative field;

+ 5+ years of professional experience working in a customer-facing role;

+ Familiarity with Hadoop, Spark, AWS and related Big Data Technologies;

+ Experience building data pipelines.
