Job description
Employer: International IT company in the aerospace industry dedicated to ICT and engineering solutions and services
Location: Remotely
Salary: up to 180 PLN/H + VAT
Cooperation model: B2B contract
Team: Scrum team which contains around 20 developers.
Start: ASAP
Your role:
- To administrate technical infrastructure/servers and Managed Private Cloud Environment from a service provider;
- To process and resolve incoming support requests from Customer's in-house users of the environment;
- To manage and develop the Customer's internally deployed private cloud prototype environment;
- To make fault analysis and remediation;
- To configure network components (virtual switches/routers/firewalls/load balancers);
- To automate recurring tasks by scripting;
- To make service work on the prototype environment as part of the lifecycle: Reinstalling/Update Control/Uninstalling VMware Clusters/Environments and Various Linux Support Systems;
- To provide Know-How Transfer to the Customer internal project or future management team;
- To support in the technical requirements collection.
Your skills and experiences:
- Master or bachelor degree in Computer Science or similar;
- 3+ years of experience in a similar position and operating involved Data Center/Cloud environments based on VMware;
- Excellent knowledge of VMware environments (Cloud Foundation4, Sphere 7, vCenter 7, NSX-T 7, vSAN 7, vRealize Suite);
- Good knowledge of Linux environment (RHEL, CentOS, Ansible, Terraform), Linux network and firewall (iptables, routing, VLANs);
- Knowledge of Kubernetes or products form on it (Tanzu Kubernetes Grid, Rancher);
- Knowledge of physical network infrastructure (switches, routers);
- Fluent knowledge of English.
Nice to have:
- German language;
- Experience in data center network infrastructures and protocols.
