We've multiple open Ruby on Rails Engineer roles for talented engineers with at least 2 years commercial experience
Who are we?
Our goal at Webdoctor is to optimise clinical communication. We build Virtual Clinics like www.webdoctor.ie, that enable medicine to be delivered efficiently online and offline to hundreds of thousands of people.
We believe that the future of medical care lies in providing software to assist clinicians do a better job and we want you to help us make that a reality.
This job is for you if you:
- Have at least 2 years in Ruby on Rails experience
- Are a “full stack” engineer who can deliver functionality end to end
- Have a solid understanding of the basics of Object Oriented Programming, SQL and front-end technologies
- Have a love for problem solving and programming
- Are a self-starter and have a constantly learning mentality
- Have an understanding of the importance of clear communication
- Have excellent spoken and written English
- Are able to work Monday to Friday within our core office hours of 10:00 to 16:00 GMT
- Are based in EU
Bonus if you have experience with or use:
- Cloud based software like AWS or Azure and some type of Linux / Unix.
- DevOps experience (Ansible / Docker / Kubernetes)
- Turbolinks-enabled hybrid apps for iOS and/or Android
Candidates will need to physically work from within the EU so they can access production systems
