Salary: 24,000 - 34,000 PLN B2B net + VAT
Location: Remote, Europe
As Core team leader, you will be leading the team of engineers responsible for the development and maintenance of the API orchestration layer of Vue Storefront. the main areas of the entire Vue Storefront product. Your daily job will rely on mentoring the team, designing new features as well as architectural design. Furthermore, you will be synchronizing your ideas and solutions with the other leaders in the company, to be aligned when it comes to common goals.
What will you be doing in this role?
- leading a team of software engineers developing the core of the VSF product
- researching and implementing solutions for new product features
- ensuring the highest levels of quality and performance of the implemented solutions
- brainstorming and gathering feedback from the other tech teams
What do we expect you to have?
- 8+ years of experience as a software engineer (javascript)
- proficiency in TypeScript (mapping types, generics, type inheritance, composite, type guards, and more are familiar to you)
- proficiency in Javascript/NodeJS - you know how to write proper code as well as build it and deploy it to the infrastructure
- understanding of GraphQL - creating/consuming API (preferably knowledge about Apollo)
- knowledge of cloud solutions such as Azure, GCP, AWS (preferably GCP) - you know how load balancer works, what's Kubernetes cluster, VPC networks, CDN, caching, etc.
- docker is your dev tool - you have practical knowledge of building and deploying images
- Front-end frameworks - general understanding of how front-end frameworks works (virtual dom, compiling, dom manipulation, server-side rendering, JAM stack), preferably expert in Vue/Nuxt or ability to quickly learn it
- exceptional soft skills - you can express yourself, including your ideas and thoughts, be a technical mentor for team members
- Previous experience in leadership is welcome
