What you´ll do 

As SAP Solution Architect, you will be responsible for architecture and technical solution design and ensure that solutions are developed in a scalable way and global by design. The work spans from technical and functional detailed matters to contribute with content in strategic work.

Your goal is to influence the use of SAP within your area in a way that will give the best total benefit to the Volvo Cars business. A daily task is to participate in the work to find the right balance between the overall advantage of an enterprise-wide integrated standard process, and the uniqueness of business that brings that extra edge. 

The complexity is high, and the automotive industry is undergoing a major shift towards electrification, which means that you will work with multiple technical stacks in a shifting landscape.

What you´ll bring 

You have deep knowledge of running SAP application operations and best practice technical SAP architecture. Competence to understand and plan for long term capacity planning and how to optimize the different components within application operation area together with good knowledge to describe and visualize the IT delivery in a global SAP enterprise implementation. 

To succeed, we believe that your background and skills include: 

• Strong background as functional consultant, solution architect or similar for one or several of the following SAP modules: EWM, PP, SD, MM, PPDS, TM, ACS, BTP
• Strong experience working with SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC 
• Strong communication skills and an analytical approach 
• Have implemented SAP solutions within manufacturing domain
• Extensive experience with integration between SAP and non-SAP ERP or legacy system 
• Working with processes and agile development methodologies in digital product teams 

We also see that you have:

• Fluency in spoken and written English 
• A university degree or similar
