We are looking for a Software Engineer (Power Platform SME) who will help us to accelerate Citizen Development movement within Volvo Group via development of tools, services and business projects.
We are a team of Power Platform enthusiasts working in an Agile way, focusing on enabling business value creation through Citizen Development.
Our activities are based on value streams such as Development, Operations & Governance and Business Nurturing & Education.

Your role would be to:
- Develop solutions built upon Microsoft Power Platform, i.e., Power Apps, Power Automate and other products within Power Platform;
- Advise and mentor Citizen Developers on their business projects & other developers within their area of responsibilities;
- Be a Power Platform Subject Matter Expert on different forums involving business stakeholders;
- Participate in & lead different upskilling initiatives as Power Platform SME depending on the business needs;
- Collaborate with Operations & Governance and Business Nurturing & Education to understand the requirements and deliver business value through all development activities.
In this role you need to have:
- 2 years of proven work experience with Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas Apps, Model Driven App);
- 2-3 years' experience within Power Automate, approvals, business process flows, custom connectors and API integrations;
- Experience with Microsoft Dataverse and XrmToolBox, or equivalent;
- Strong experience of development with Microsoft collaboration stack including Power Platform, Office 365, Azure AD Connect, & SharePoint Online;
- Experience with API and REST services integrations;
- Practical knowledge of software development lifecycle and tools;
- Strong customer value mindset;
- Great communication skills;
- Very good English (at least B1 level).
In this role it would be nice if you have:
- Power Apps Component Framework knowledge;
- Experience with Power Apps Virtual Agent and RPA Power Automate;
- Previous work with Azure Devops & Azure Functions;
- Experience with scripting;
- Microsoft certifications related to Dynamics / PowerApps in a development capacity.
