This will be us - your new colleagues within Analytics & BI Delivery Product Data:

Analytics & BI Delivery is a new function and part of the DATA organization within Group Digital & IT with the goal to unlock the power of data for the full Volvo Group to become a fully data-driven company! With data, the core component of our transformation journey, we will, together with our data talents, make the Volvo Group 2030 vision happen. We have an ambitious transformation in front of us, with an implementation of the Data Layer in Azure as well as the reinforcement of Data Governance and Data Management in the full Group.  

We collaborate with other parts of the organization, in Group Digital & IT with TD/BAs and Group Functions. We foster an environment where ideas, thoughts and opinions can be shared. We are team players with clear common ambitions, and we win together. 

In Analytics & BI we drive the delivery, focused on fulfilling the business needs within different data and analytics domains, in close collaboration with the key stakeholders and users. 

This is how you could make an impact: 
We are now looking for a colleague to join the Advanced Analytics & BI Delivery team for Product Data in the position as Delivery Leader. Your role is to facilitate the procedures of product teams in an agile development way of working. Furthermore, you will orchestrate the activities and meetings and be a vital actor for successful collaboration of the product teams, to secure deliveries of data- and value driven digital solutions.  

As a Delivery Leader you will shape the way we deliver value to customers. You will have a key role in the journey towards transforming the deliveries towards an agile approach and to orchestrate the product teams effectively. You will work with multiple DevSecOps teams that includes diverse competencies in the field of delivery manager, data engineers, architects, data analysts and business analysts.  
These are some selected responsibilities: 
  • Facilitate product teams using the most appropriate agile methodology  
  • Be a strong advocate for Agile mindset and practices  
  • Jointly with the team support deliveries of Analytics and Data solutions  
  • Foster close collaboration across all team members, empower knowledge sharing and proactively manage conflicts solving inside the teams 
  • Support with budget estimations and budget follow-ups 
  • Ensure the quality of work and KPIs fulfilment 
  • Actively solving issues, use escalation paths whenever needed 
  • Support the Delivery Manager/ Product Owners to keep a refined, prioritized product backlog  
  • Jointly with the team own and drive upskilling initiatives and continuous learning in Agile, Analytics and Digital transformation supporting our continuous next.  
  • Upskill in and facilitate the agile ceremonies  
  • Facilitate and escalate removal of impediments  
  • Onboard new members and identify missing knowledge or abilities to get to the next level of excellence of analytics practices and deliveries in the team  
  • Support to ensure a transparent communication and good listening power within the team and towards all stakeholders  

Required competencies: 
  • Min. 1- 2 years of experience as a Delivery Leader 
  • Strong organization skills, high level of accuracy, and attention to quality 
  • Proficient knowledge in agile development process and methodology, business process and practiced agile coaching 
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills: communication, cooperation, negotiation 
  • “Can-do’ and a servant leader attitude 
  • Knowledge of the BI & Advanced Analytics solutions 
  • Agile coach certification is considered as beneficial 
  • Fluency in English
