Viacom Warsaw Software Development Center is looking for a rock solid Senior Software Engineer, who will join our newly created Broadcast Systems Development team. We need someone with professional, hands-on experience in developing projects related to broadcast television distribution. You should be driven to deliver quality software suitable for the high-availability nature of television broadcasting.

What will you do?
As part of the Broadcast Systems Development team, you will design, develop and implement applications related to one of our crucial systems. As a part of an Agile team, you will build new and optimize already established the complex, multithreaded applications. Your responsibilities will include close collaboration with the key stakeholders, creating technical documentation, and resolving technically advanced problems. Keeping up to date with modern technologies and sharing the knowledge and guidance with your colleagues will also be a part of your duties.

What skills do you have?
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience plus a Master’s degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent professional experience combined with a Bachelor’s degree
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with C# .NET software development
- Knowledge of AngularJS or other frontend JavaScript frameworks
- Experience with SQL (MYSQL / SQL Server)
- Extensive knowledge of FakeItEasy or other mocking frameworks
- Strong understanding of installed systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems
- Familiarity with continuous integration/deployment techniques
- Experience working with established systems
- Strong understanding of OOD, code refactoring, unit testing, and programming best practices
What will be your additional plus?
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases
- Experience with SignalR
- Hands-on experience with C++
- Familiarity with Agile development process (Scrum, TDD)
- Experience in the Entertainment or Broadcast industry
