Job description
Vewd focuses on technology for Smart TVs, STBs, and Blu-ray players. We work with customers like Sony, Samsung, Arris, and Vestel and with some of the biggest content partners in the world, helping them deploy their services on our platform.

Now we’re looking for Quality Assurance Engineers to join our Product Team in Warsaw and Wrocław.
Your responsibilities:
- Assessing and keeping the high quality of our final product at the last stage, that’s the most important and primary responsibility, having a real influence on our product
- ~ 30% – development and maintenance of automatic test environment (Continuous Integration), including tests automation
- ~ 25% evaluation of tickets, monitoring, communication with peers, meetings
- ~ 15% of manual testing (issues investigation and verification mainly) – especially before releases
- ~ 10% of test planning
- ~ 10% of setting up hardware
- ~ 10% close cooperation with software developers
What you bring:
- Being self-driven, because we believe our people know the best
- Thoroughness and detail-oriented attitude, as you work independently
- Solid knowledge of HTML and web standards, as you are responsible for shaping and quality of our final product
- Basic working knowledge of Linux and web-technologies
- Basic working knowledge of at least one scripting language: Python, Groovy (ideally), JavaScript (nice to have)
- Great analytical skills and curiosity, as you not only report bugs but also advice where and how to fix them
- Being self-reliant, with a proactive approach and willingness to share your knowledge with peers
- Great communication skills
- English – good working knowledge, both written and spoken
