Projects description:
We build our products to work on SmartTV devices and set up boxes together with back-office tools meant to be working on a regular browser. The whole system is built with the microservices architecture in mind. There are backend services written in Python or JavaScript/Node.js and frontend built using React/Redux or vanilla JavaScript.
You will be part of the backend developer team, working in an agile environment and responsible for the continuous delivery of high-quality software.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop test automation strategies; create robust and reliable automation solutions
- Architecting, designing, developing, implementing Test Automation framework by writing, augmenting Test Scripts and Test Libraries for custom software development
- Integration of automation tests into the CI/CD pipeline for release automation
- Identify and implement industry-best tools and practices in test automation to increase quality, decrease costs, and improve value to market
- Automate test results report generation and release readiness assessment
- Define, configure and maintain software tests and test servers in all environments
- Create Test Data for QA Validations by various configuration changes
- Work with other Test Engineering Team and Development to ensure Automation and Test Harnesses Creation and maintenance is upheld
Requirements:
- Experienced in test automation framework
- Knowledge of Kubernetes
- Good knowledge of Linux with bash system environment
- Good knowledge of Python, PyTest
- Understanding of databases and services, including the ability to programmatically interact with data formats that may include XML and JSON
- Strong willingness to learn new technologies and quality engineering practices
- Excellent communication and cross-group collaboration skills
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
